Two years of intensive work had been done: in WEMIN German language courses, in special cultural programs for immigrant and refugee women, in mentoring activities and empowerment seminars as well as in creative workshops and many individual discussions, meetings in groups and cultural offers. In total, around 140 migrants and refugee women in the Stuttgart region could be addressed directly by WEMIN and participate in the offers of the project. In addition, around 30 local women were permanently involved in the seminars and meetings. In the expanded environment, WEMIN reached around 500 women, refugees, social workers, political decision-makers and non-profit organizations
The work of WEMIN and the commitment of women should not stop with the end of WEMIN. That is why the women have come together to form an "alumni round", which will continue to meet and exchange twice a month. The WEMIN curriculum will continue to be used in language and integration courses, as will the concepts for creative and artistic work to promote the integration of migrant women and refugee women.
