On the May 17th 2019, Oxfam Italia Intercultura introduced the “The social integration of migrant and refugee women: a guide for policy makers” to 23 professionals: social workers, psychologists, programme coordinators working for 20 different CSOs and Public Institutions.
These professionals work for the implementation of programs addressed to MR women, men and children at a Regional level.
The guide was presented in order to disseminate good practices, to raise awareness on needs and rights of MR women at a National and European level but also to promote the WEMIN project among specialised professionals.
It was an opportunity to discuss on how to support the target group, how to put different services in synergy as well as to promote a coordinated response to social, health and economical needs of MR women in the Tuscany Region.
